ABOUT DAVE LODEN CONSTRUCTION

Built in Wyoming.
Built to last.

Four decades of commercial roofing, a family-first culture, and a commitment to doing the work right.

WHERE IT STARTED

Built on a simple idea.

Do the work right. Stand behind it.

In 1985, Dave Loden founded Dave Loden Construction in Buffalo, Wyoming with a simple belief: treat people fairly, pay attention to the details, and stand behind your work.

Four decades and millions of square feet of commercial roofing later, that philosophy hasn’t changed. DLC has grown from a small Wyoming roofing company into a regional contractor serving Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and Texas — while remaining focused on the same thing that built the company in the first place: doing good work for people who trust us to do it right.

A new chapter for DLC.

A new chapter. The same standard.

When Liz Hill acquired Dave Loden Construction, the goal was never to reinvent the company. It was to protect what had made DLC successful for four decades — experienced people, strong relationships, and a reputation built by doing the work right.

Today, that responsibility is shared across the Hill family. Bryton Hill leads day-to-day operations, supported by Brady and Jackson Hill, both experienced roofers who have spent years working in the field, managing projects, and serving customers. Sean Hill helps lead the business alongside Liz, bringing another layer of operational experience and oversight to the company.

Liz brings decades of leadership, business development, and relationship-building experience to DLC, along with a clear vision for its future: invest in our people, strengthen the relationships we have with our customers, grow thoughtfully into new markets, and never lose sight of the workmanship and accountability that earned DLC its reputation in the first place.

The ownership may be new. The standard is not.

What that looks like in the field.

Our values only matter if they show up in the work. At DLC, they do - in who we are, how we inspect, how we train, and what happens after the job is finished.

  • We hire people who care

We're selective about who joins our crews. Skill matters, but so does character, accountability, and pride in the work.

  • We inspect everything

Every warranted project goes through multiple levels of quality review — including our foreman, superintendent, and manufacturer — before we consider the job complete.

  • We stand behind our work

If something isn't right, we don't disappear. We find the cause, make it right, and use what we learn to improve the next project. Accountability doesn't end when the crew leaves the site.

  • We stay with the roof

Our relationship doesn't end when the project does. Through inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and ongoing service, we help building owners protect their investment and maximize the service life of their roof.

Proudly rooted in Buffalo, Wyoming.

DLC has called Buffalo home since 1985. The values that built this company here still guide us today: show up, do what you say, take pride in the work, and stand behind it.

Today our crews work across Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and Texas — but wherever the job takes us, we bring that same Buffalo standard with us.
